The cable glands are completely sealed and have an IP68 rating. This means that the metal glands are dustproof and protected against the continuous effects of immersion in water. CSS-M cable glands are ideal for harsher environments and outdoor applications. Resistant to salt, alcohol, oil, grease and common solvents. Ideal for harsh industrial environments. For use with unarmoured cable.

Parts A, C, F are made of high quality brass with nickel-plated finish

Parts B, D made of temperature-resistant silicone rubber

Protection level: IP68 water resistant up to 5 bar pressure
Working temperature: from -40 °C to +180 °C (short-term up to +200 °C)
Flammability class: UL94V-2 low smoke, halogen-free design
