Characteristics of Insulation
Extruded expanded polyethylene insulating jacket, seamless, closed-cell with a very high water vapor diffusion resistance factor (anti-condensation 15000) and fire behavior of Class 1. The expansion of polyethylene occurs without the use of harmful CFCs and HCFCs as required by European Regulation CEE/UE 2037/2000.

Operating temperature -80°/+100°C
To prevent the crystallization of PE exposed to solar rays, the insulating jacket in outdoor installations is protected by a silver grey LDPE film capable of absorbing UV radiation while maintaining its insulating properties. The anti-UV additive does not interfere with the flame retardant that is free of halogen elements (HALOGEN-FREE) present in the LDPE film.
Areas of Use
Specific for air conditioning systems and the transport of refrigerant gases R407C, R410A, and R32. Suitable for geographical areas with high solar radiation.
