The SKIL 3480 ’20V Max’ is a brushless reciprocating saw and part of the SKIL ‘brushless XP’ line. “XP” tools offer exceptional performance and durability, thanks to their high specifications and advanced digital brushless motors. Like all other SKIL ’20V Max’ brushless tools, this model is powered by the industry-leading “PWRCORE 20” advanced battery and charger technology. The SKIL 3480 brushless saw is ideal for demanding cutting tasks such as demolition cuts, shortening beams, and pruning trees. With its long 29 mm stroke length, it delivers very high cutting performance, and the orbital action switch allows even faster cutting when needed. The advanced dual counterweight structure (‘VRS’) ensures very low vibrations despite the high performance. The digital brushless motor provides more power, more efficiency, and a lifespan 10 times longer than a comparable brushed motor. The LED light ensures good visibility of the workpiece. Changing blades is easier than ever thanks to the “Clic” system, requiring no tools or special keys. For your convenience, the design allows for easy hanging. The adjustable foot position lets you use the blade more efficiently. Finally, the softgrip ensures comfortable work. The SKIL “PWRJUMP” charger automatically charges the “PWRCORE 20” battery from 0% to 15% in just 5 minutes. The “PWRASSIST” USB adapter allows mobile device charging on the go.
