EFFEBI-PRESS® UNICO® is the new range of crimped copper fittings from EFFEBI, designed to fulfill and enhance our mission.
EFFEBI-PRESS® UNICO® is a fitting system suitable for use in the construction of domestic methane GPL systems and sanitary water-heating systems. UNICO® is the universal fitting with dual marking in Yellow (GAS) and Blue (WATER). The UNICO® series, which can be used for both gas and water systems, consists of crimped fittings made of copper-copper and bronze-copper. It includes a complete range of intermediate fittings with 20 types of figures ranging from copper-copper crimped fittings with diameters from 12 to 54 mm and threaded bronze-copper crimped fittings from Ø12 mm – 3/8 to Ø54 mm – 2. The UNICO® series fittings comply with the UNI EN 11065 requirements for class 1 (water application) and class 2 (gas application) and feature dual color marking in Yellow and Blue. The threaded connections to other systems are made with threaded bronze parts with crimped ends. Male threads conform to UNI EN 10226 standards.
