Antifreeze for heat pumps, geothermal systems and underfloor heating – Fernox HP-5c 10 L Description:
Non-toxic concentrated heat transfer fluid for air source and geothermal heat pumps and for underfloor heating systems. This product is designed to protect against corrosion and limescale, as well as frost between -4°C and -14°C.

Application:
Dilute before use with mains water. To ensure adequate anticorrosion and biocidal protection, the minimum in-use concentration of the product is 10%. The maximum in-use concentration is 30%. Once diluted, Fernox HP-5c provides frost protection according to the table below.

Frost protection levels can be checked using a Fernox Refractometer. Existing heating systems should be cleaned of debris and limescale deposits with a suitable Fernox Cleaner before adding Fernox HP-5c.
