PressureWave expansion vessels are ideal for a wide range of applications such as pressurization systems, thermal expansion, irrigation systems, and anti-water hammer. The PressureWave water chamber features a virgin polypropylene coating combined with a high-buty content membrane (FDA certified). The diaphragm is secured to the vessel structure with a steel ring. The brass air valve, sealed with a threaded cap, prevents any pressure loss. Water entry into the vessel is through a patented connection (with hexagon for screw-in and unscrew) made of stainless steel.
The polypropylene coating and diaphragm are both reinforced in specific wear zones for enhanced durability. All internal parts, including the air valve, are rounded to prevent diaphragm damage in extreme conditions. The special water connection provides dual water/air sealing, ensuring no leaks and maintaining vessel pressure.
Externally, the vessel is covered with a bicomponent polyurethane paint in almond color applied over an epoxy base, allowing hundreds of hours of exposure to salt spray and high UV protection.
PressureWave vessels undergo numerous quality tests throughout the production process to ensure the structural integrity of each unit.
