This valve is a double-protection non-return safety device designed for use in gas circuits in welding, oxy-fuel cutting and related applications. This type of valve is intended to prevent flame flashback and gas backflow along the supply line, increasing the safety of the gas-flame system.

Function and application:
This valve is part of the Oxyturbo double-protection safety valves (Flame Back Arrestor), designed to ensure that:
flammable gases cannot flow back towards the source, such as cylinders or regulators, in the event of abnormal flow conditions;
the flame cannot propagate backwards towards the supply line;
safety requirements are maintained in accordance with European standard EN 730-1 and sector technical regulations for welding and oxy-fuel cutting systems.
Valve 150260 is specifically configured for fuel gases (such as acetylene, propane, etc.) and must be installed in-line on the flexible hose between the regulator/supply and the equipment.
Standards and safety:
The valves are manufactured and marked in compliance with safety standards for non-return devices (Flame Back Arrestor) used in welding and flame cutting.
According to EN 730-1, replacement is required after each flame flashback or at least every 5 years.
Oxyturbo individually tests each valve and supplies an instruction manual with markings, flow direction and maintenance guidelines.
