Calibrated replacement orifice (nozzle) for Danfoss thermostatic expansion valves of the T2 and TE2 series. It is a key component of the refrigeration circuit, designed to meter the refrigerant accurately and adapt the valve to the capacity specifications of the refrigeration or air conditioning system.
The orifice is an internal element of the expansion valve that regulates the flow of liquid refrigerant to the evaporator, thus controlling the superheat level and optimising the efficiency of the refrigeration cycle.
