Nova is a submersible pump designed for clear water drainage in domestic and residential settings. Completely redesigned in 2019 to mark forty years of commercialization, it is now even more durable, reliable, and ergonomic in use. Nova can also be used to empty tanks or cisterns. The DAB Nova 180, Nova 200, Nova 300, and Nova 600 models are submersible pumps for the drainage of clear wastewater (including rainwater) in domestic and residential settings. The pumps were redesigned to commemorate forty years of commercialization, making them even more reliable, durable, and ergonomic. They can also be used to empty tanks, basins, or cisterns.
Nova 180 and Nova 600 are suitable for fixed or mobile installations and are available in an automatic version with an integrated float switch or a manual version without a float. These pumps are suitable for draining flooded basements, cellars, and garages or preventing flooding when installed in rainwater collection wells; they can also be used as portable pumps in emergency situations to drain water from flooded areas. The pump body, impeller, and suction grid are made of technopolymer, and the motor shaft is stainless steel. Thermal protection is incorporated in all single-phase versions. It can run dry for up to one minute. Free passage of 10 mm. In compliance with European standard EN 60335-2-41 for external use, a 10-meter power cable is required.
